1. Sure Surface Cleanliness:
- The surface must be dry, clean, and free of dust, grease, wax, mildew, and flaking materials.
- Remove old, loose paint using a wire brush, scraper, or sanding.
2. New Masonry / Concrete Surfaces:
- Allow fresh concrete, plaster, or cement surfaces to cure for at least 28 days before application.
- Remove efflorescence (white salt deposits) by brushing or washing and allow the surface to dry.
3. Previously Painted Surfaces:
- If the old paint is in good condition, clean and lightly sand it to improve adhesion.
- For flaking or chalky surfaces, remove all loose material and apply Multilac Stabilizer if required before the primer.
4. Moisture Check:
- Ensure the surface is completely dry before applying primer.
- Do not apply to damp or waterlogged surfaces.
5. Repair Work:
- Patch up cracks, holes, and imperfections with suitable filler or skim coat.
- Let the repair materials cure thoroughly before priming.
6. Surface Smoothness:
- Sand down rough or uneven patches and remove sanding dust with a clean, dry cloth or brush.
7. Application Conditions:
- Surface temperature should be between 10°C and 35°C.
- Avoid application under direct sunlight, heavy wind, or rain.
