A solvent-borne two component (Epoxy-Polyamide) high performance mat finish anti corrosive primer for mainly on interior steelworks. Epoxy Iron Oxide Primer offers good corrosion resistance, flexibility, toughness and chemical resistance.

Resin: Epoxy ester/Polyamide.
Pigment: Colour Pigments and Extenders.
Solvent: Xylene/ Alcohol.
Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials to be applied. Any oil or grease from site plant/ works must be removed with a detergent.
Application: Stir Colour Base well and mix two components Base to Hardener 2: 1 ratio by weight till the mixture is homogeneous. Thin with Lankem Epoxy Thinner 10 – 20 % by volume. Apply by brush or spray. Once mixed, Lankem Iron Oxide Primer has a pot life of one hour only. If it hardens cannot be used thereafter.
Limitation: Do not apply when air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 5 oC or when the relative humidity is above 80% during application or the drying period.
