PETROKEM 3DOT 2K AUTO FILLER (Base + Activator)

Petrokem 3Dot 2K Auto Filler is a two component high quality filler for refinishing of vehicles. Recommended to use over polyester putty, metal filler, fiberglass, plastic, wood, any metal surface or over most other similar surfaces as a filler. The product protects the substrate and fills minute cavities in the substrate. Yellow patch problems that occurs due to the incorrect mixing of polyester putty (or metal filler) base and hardener (specially in white/light color paints) can be completely eliminated by using 3Dot 2K Auto Filler. 3Dot 2K Auto Filler is resistant to salty sea spray. Recommended to use in coastal areas. For touchup work it is recommended to apply 3Dot 2K Auto Filler over the entire panel.

Application

• Surface to be painted should be flattened using sand paper P400-800 for best results. Do not touch the surface after preparation. Surface to be painted should be clean and completely dry for best performance.
• Mix thoroughly equal volumes of 3Dot® 2K Auto Filler base and activator. Five minutes of thorough mixing is recommended. If too thick for the application use 3Dot® 2K PU Thinner to thin the product.
• Use the mixture within 1 hour.
• Apply the mixture to the surface by using a suitable spray equipment (at 40-60 psi)
• Allow the filler to dry at least for 4 hours. (a) Flatten using water sand paper P400-800. (b) check for cavities / undulations in the filled surface and repair cavities/ undulations by using Petrokem 3Dot® Polyester Putty fine. (c) Smoothen polyester putty fine by using water sand paper P400-800. (d) Apply 3Dot® 2K Auto Filler over the flattened polyester putty. Allow to dry. Then smoothen with water sand paper P400-800. (e) Allow the filler to dry for at least 8 hours before painting.
• Application of N/C putty is not required.
• Use any suitable auto paint finish over the prepared surface.
