DESCRIPTION

CAUSEWAY WRINKLE BLACK is a special texture finish coating designed to provide the characteristics of a wrinkled surface.

SURFACE PREPERATION

1. Iron and Steel

• Surface must be removed of all dirt, oil, grease, rust or any other materials on the surface that may adversely affect its adhesion properties.
• Lightly sand glossy surfaces. Wipe the sanded surface clean when finished.

2. Aluminum

• Prime the surface with CAUSEWAY ETCH PRIMER.

3. Plastic

• Due to many different grades of plastic present in the market, the use of this product on the plastic must be evaluated first with the customer’s substrate. Generally this can be applied on CAUSEWAY PLASTIC PRIMER applied surface.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area such as an open garage. Use when temperature is above 25⁰C and humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying.
• For best results, apply 2-3 slightly heavy coats, 5 minutes apart. A fairly heavy film thickness is required for the product to wrinkle. A wrinkle finish will not appear immediately after product is sprayed.
• Allow 2 hours to air dry. If product does not wrinkle, or wrinkles in an uneven pattern, apply an additional coat to unwrinkled and uneven areas. These areas will wrinkle within 15 minutes if force dried.
